Sean Carlson: Born and raised in New York where he has been creating and studying art for his entire life. As a freelance artist Sean is self-taught in a wide variety of traditional mediums, ranging from charcoal, to colored pencils, to acrylic paint, sometimes all on the same piece. Through traveling the comic convention circuit for nearly a decade, his work is owned by some of the most famous names in the industry, including Tom Hiddleston, Oscar Issac, and much of the cast of the animated X-men series, including the voice of Wolverine, Cal Dodd. By keeping a wide array of influences, Sean’s work runs the gamut of many different styles; from photorealism, to expressive, to the entirely abstract, all in order to give the viewer a sense of something they have never seen before.
