About the Artist
MEET CHRISTOPHER CLARK: Christopher has been an artist since early childhood, when he would watch Bob Ross on PBS and mimic the famed oil painter’s art with crayons. He considers himself a self-educated artist. Christopher’s studies range from personal training with contemporary masters to inspiration from 19th Century art and the Impressionist Movement. Known for his attention to detail in capturing the exact likeliness of character faces and motion, Christopher uses only oil paints(no digital work whatsoever). In 2015, he made painting a full time career gaining the attention of Lucasfilm and Marvel Fine Art, which both signed him as an officially licensed artist in June 2016 and immediately published a variety of his paintings. Since 2017, Christopher is Lucasfilm’s #1 selling artist and very proud to have George Lucas himself as a collector. Lucas insists on having first right of refusal on Christopher’s future Star Wars originals. He has been the featured artist on multiple occasions with Star Wars Celebration, Epcot Center, Major League Baseball, Comic Cons in San Diego & New York. Now in 2023 Christopher is now an official artist for the historical anime Astro Boy, the show that is profoundly responsible for shaping anime as we know it today.
