Hidden Details:
Faces in the smoke/clouds.
The Caterpillar's smoke/clouds swirl around the edge of the painting to eventually form the Caterpillar himself. The smoke also subtlety forms Alice and the mushrooms, implying maybe that Alice and even Wonderland could be a figment of the Caterpillar's own imagination.
White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat's grin are hidden in top left corner.
